The power to make my dreams come true is within me.

I'm a single 30-something gal living in New York City. I've had this extra weight on me for far too long, and I've been using it as an excuse for not achieving other dreams in my life. No more!

Throughout this journey, I've realized that I need help and motivation from others to help me be successful. I lost 24 pounds in 2009 but gained almost all of it back, then I lost 29 pounds in 2012 but gained most of if back - I want to break the pattern and lose the weight for good!

My Goals:
* Feel more positive about my body.
* Have more energy.
* Limit sugar intake.
* Eat at least 5 vegetable servings every day.
* Eat 1-2 fruit servings every day.
* Feel strong and sexy.
* Sleep 7+ hours each night.
* Find the right work/life balance that allows me to focus on being healthy.
* Regulate my hormones.
* Regulate my insulin.

Weight Goals:
1. Reach 249 by June 27, 2014.
2. Reach 225 by September 27, 2014 - my 39th birthday.
3. Reach 160 by September 27, 2015 - my 40th Birthday, which I will celebrate at Walt Disney World with family and friends.

My Program:
I am using the Nutrition Tracker and Fitness Tracker regularly.

I'm doing various exercise DVDs (kickboxing, cardio dance). I enjoy power walking to some energetic tunes. I also enjoy the occasional aerobic dance class. I love swimming when I can find a pool. I also love kayaking, but I sadly only do it about once a year - I want to increase that.

Personal Information:
I'm single, 38, no kids. I live in New York City.

I love to travel. I'd like to be more physically fit so I can be more active on vacations.
