Hi,I'm Amanda, a single 30-something gal living in New York City. I've had this extra weight on me for far too long, and I've been using it as an excuse for not achieving other dreams in my life. No more!

Throughout this journey, I've realized that I need help and motivation from others to help me be successful. I lost 24 pounds in 2009 but gained almost all of it back, I lost 29 pounds in 2012 but gained most of if back, and I lost 19 pounds in 2013 and gained it all back - I want to break the pattern and lose the weight for good!

Fitness Minutes: 23,067

My Goals:
* I will only weigh myself once a week.
* I will exercise at least 4 days a week, for at least 30 minutes each day.
* I will eat at least 1 fruit and at least 4 vegetable servings every day
* I will unwind every day (as in myofascial release).

Weight Goal:
* By August 20, 2015 - weigh between 157.4-197.4 pounds.
* Monthly weight loss goals: 5 - 8.3 pounds shed per month
* Reach my target weight of 160 by September 27, 2015 - my 40th Birthday, which I will celebrate at Walt Disney World with family and friends.


My Program:
I am using the Nutrition Tracker and Fitness Tracker regularly.

I'm participating more in SparkTeams for support, inspiration and motivation.

I'm doing various exercise DVDs (kickboxing, cardio dance). I enjoy power walking to some energetic tunes. I also enjoy the occasional aerobic dance class. I love swimming when I can find a pool. I also love kayaking, but I sadly only do it about once a year - I want to increase that.

I enjoy restorative yoga and want to fit it in more.

I practice almost daily self myofascial release, it's amazing!



Personal Information:
I'm single, 38, no children, no pets now (though I love them and had a dog for several years). I live in New York City.

I love to travel. I'd like to be more physically fit so I can be more active on vacations.

I love all things Disney. I like to scrapbook. I love almost all kinds of music.
