I am inspired by David Goggins - Navy Seal, Ultra-marathoner, and philanthropist. See the video on my 10/19/2010 blog.
If I had to pick a trainer on the Biggest Loser - Dolvett would be my man!

I joined SparkPeople 7/26/2010 - needed more support and structure than Weight Watchers was able to provide.
I'm rebooting my weight loss on December 29, 2012 and signed up for SparkCoach to help me.

Completed my first half marathon 11/7/2010.
Unfortunately, I gained weight afterward and had been trying to get back to a healthy BMI ever since.

Recommitting to a healthy lifestyle.
Imagine weight loss is just like going down a set of stairs -
I am aiming to lose one pound at a time,and keep it off,
rather than trying to jump down an entire flight at once.

Updated goals for 2014
- make the majority of my meals at home
-exercise a minimum of 10 minutes a day
-do something DAILY toward weight loss
-DEVELOP A LIFESTYLE THAT WILL HELP ME REACH AND MAINTAIN GOAL WEIGHT BY 2016!

Move more, eat less.

Learning more core strengthening exercises.

-excel at puzzles, even won a trip to Hollywood to play in an Internet tournament

-Did 4 sprint triathlons...after age 40
-Did 2 half marathons & counting
-Backpacked a month in Wyoming
-owned a pony as a kid
-Love parasailing but would never skydive
-survived a plane overshooting a runway
