Small steps consistently taken lead to BIG RESULTS!

Never give up! I thought I would reach goal in 2010, but I added on 22 pounds instead.
I'm back to Spark People and committing to tracking my eating, daily exercise and being inspired by all the wonderful members of SP.
After reading Gary Taubes new book, "Why we get Fat ..." I have dropped the high carb low fat regime and embraced the low carb high fat high protein WOE (way of eating)

My Goals:
1. lose 33 pounds
2. wear size 12 -14 pants
3. achieve strength, flexiblity, balance and high cardio level
4. make fitness and clean eating a priority in my life

My Program:
I am eating a low carb (30-40 grams a day is the goal), high fat and protein regime. NO SUGAR!
Track my food and fitness.
Cardio 6 days a week.
Strength train /Pilates 4 days a week.
Always look for ways to increase movement.


Personal Information:
My partner and I live in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We have our own business (historic preservation and custom cabinetry), raise vegetables, goats and hens!

What a nice person you are! Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment on my blog about the concerns I'm having over my son. It really helps me so much to know I'm not alone here, but have met some wonderful, caring people like you to help me get through the tough times.

Oh Hello Dragonfish57. I am here, and you know who I am. Maybe we can re-start our weekly walks week after next. At that time I'll be ready to be BACK IN SNOWSHOES. I'm hoping we get socked tonight and there will be lots of snow. Hope you had a good new year. Thanks for showing me spark. :)
