Tired of being tired

I just need to find a balance and have had it with all this weight. I am fifty one years old but in my mind I'm in my 30's. I want my body to feel this way too. A few years ago I broke both my legs and was in a wheel chair for several weeks and lo and behold I lost weight. Just goes to prove that not being able to get to the food was proof positive that I can do this. I have lost and gained that weight several times since then, but I know that I can do it. Just need to get my butt in gear ...

My Goals:
My first goal is to loose my first 20 lbs. My second goal is to get into an exercise routine.

My Program:
I walk with a freind 3 days a week for at least an hour. We are trying to improve the distance we go in that one hour but still talk a lot. I am also trying to eat on a regular basis instead of the usual meal skipping.

You're very welcome! I always wonder why bad things happen to good people. I don't have the answers but I do understand some of what you are feeling. Just remember that we won't recognize the 'ups' in our life if we haven't felt the 'downs'. Tough to have to go through them but they sure make the ups much sweeter.

Welcome to SP. It's a great site! Be sure and sign up for Spark America and when you set up your exercises, just remove any you can't do or don't want and put in those you do. Be sure and schedule a day for cardio so you have access to the "other exercises" page where the walking, housework, playing with children etc. are to be found. When you are done, set up your Appointment calendar to send you reminders and when they come, click on the link then fitness and just check them off as you do them. Such a great feature. Use your spark points page to help you use and learn all the fantastic tools we have at this site. Visit others pages and get to know them better. Again, welcome to a great site.
