I am 29 years old. I have never been this heavy in my life. I now have high blood pressure on top of acid reflux, depression and bipolar disorder. I have an 8 yr old, a 7 yr old and a 4 yr old I am too tired to play with. I look horrible in family photos, my hormones keep my complexion looking terrible and my scalp flaky. My rings (and jeans) I've worn for years no longer fit me. My larger size makes me more clumsy and I bump into things with my belly and bottom.
But the very last straw was when I realized that it is harder (and less pleasurable) for my fiancee and I to be intimate because of the weight I have gained. My weight is no longer a choice- I can, must and AM losing weight no matter what.
BUT, I have alli which I begin on Monday 9/1/08 and this is pretty much the LAST time I will try to lose weight because I WILL SUCCEED! For my health, for my family, for MYSELF- I'M DOING IT!

My Goals:
I will be losing 80 pounds (no less, no more).
I will become physically active for at least 1 hour a day with my children.
I will teach my daughter how to eat healthy and be active so that she does not have to go through the same things I am.
I will be more confident in myself and prove that I have the willpower I need.


My Program:
Beginning alli program 9/1/08 along with spark people.
Committing to make small changes each week/month that will build into big changes.
Committing to stick with it for the long haul- I do not expect to finish with alli until next year, however I will continue the eating/physical activity levels for the rest of my life.
