Have found a food plan that takes into account my body type, using some of the body building ideas. Gain a sense of myself that I have lost and be a confident joyful woman again. Join and learn from the challenges, be motivated by the losers and triers as we journey together to our goals. Be an encouragement to others and open to change.

Thanks for the blog comment. We didn't get the back splash done today. Matter of fact, only got about 3 foot of it done. Trying a different technique and it's been very slow going so far. Will probably finish up the area we are working on and do the rest the old fashioned way, with mortar.
I definitely don't enjoy the small losses. Feels like all of the sacrifices during the week were for nothing.
Thanks for the goodie :) I know that I should join some Texas spark teams, but I haven't. Something to do with being anti-social I guess. There are good and bad about every place, I think you just have to go with the place that has more good in the things that are important to you. For instance, I am a very "old fashioned" type of person, I've always thought that I was born in the wrong generation. The way of life in most of Texas is much closer to being old fashioned than it is here in "The People's Republic of Californiastan".
As for the guns, you can own guns in every state because it's a Constitutional right. However some states have very strict rules about carrying a firearm, whether concealed or in the open. California is one of those states. Of course in a lot of places in California you can carry a non-concealed firearm, but it can't be loaded... an unloaded gun is just a paperweight! Of course ridiculous laws like this do not and will not keep a criminal from having a loaded gun and possibly using it. It does however keep a law abiding citizen from being able to protect himself and others when that criminal starts to use his gun! Despite what the news outlets would lead the world to believe, somewhere in the U.S. a law abiding citizen uses a gun to stop a violent criminal every day.
A few big cities are the reason that the U.S. seems to have a high death rate from shootings: Chicago so far in 2015 has had 1,748 people shot and wounded with 255 killed! A person is shot every 3 hours and 4 minutes and a person is murdered every 18 hours and fifteen minutes, on average in Chicago. Chicago also has some of the most strict gun laws, which of course criminals don't follow, but law abiding citizens do. Also, when people talk about our high rate of shootings, they fail to mention that they are also counting self defense shootings, police shootings, accidental shootings and suicides.Anti gun people love to just look at the total number without breaking down the circumstances.
Texas is much more "gun friendly", unlike California where a lot of people judge you negatively if you own a gun or enjoy going to the shooting range. In Texas it's almost a requirement to go shooting!!
