1 Lb at a time....

Fighting the good fight against lard! I've always been an albatross (big bird hehehe) but have gained so much weight since quitting smoking and losing my job a year ago. Very unfairly - I put on 5Lb most recently after giving alchohol the boot from my life ! Talk about injustice! - you do all the things you are suposed to do ---and your prize is a gargantuan rear! Anyway, I'm hoping sparks gonna save me, liking it very much so far!

36, British lady. Been trying to lose weight for 4 months using various very unsucessful methods. Last one was where I ate nothing every other day. (did that for a month and only lost 3 Lb! Am now getting help here. & it's great to get some guidance!

Just cruising around looking to spread some encouragement... from one very slow loser to another...

May today and every day bring to you a ridiculous abundance of whatever you need. May all your concerns, struggles, anxieties and fears fall like ashes as you rise on eagle's wings, SOARING above all that would hinder you along this tremendous adventure of being and becoming all you are created to be. Saw your post about running. In my opinion running is hard on the feet and knees and leads to stress injury. You should try the Step Away the Inches workout by Teressa Tapp. If you activate the muscles as she instructs while you are walking you will see the inches (not necessarily lbs) drop away. If you have a VHS she has that workout on sale for $5.00 while supplies last. If you have a DVD player the workout is $20.00. Her website is http://www.t-tapp.com
