March 2014.
With all my gain (lost weight) you would think the scale would co-operate and stay at my goal. Apparently my scale has no regard for past accomplishments.

Back to the grind stone. I have 45 pounds to loose

March 10 - May 31 2014 - DOWN 22 POUNDS Woo Hoooo!

May - July 2014 I took a hiatus from tracking and exercise and went up to 215 pounds.

August 1st 2014 I started with the 'Ideal Protein' program.

August 1st 2014 I started with the 'Ideal Protein' program.
- starting weight 213 27% Body Fat
August 9th weighed in at 201. On my way to 180.
August 14th 198.5 pounds
August 21st 195.8 pounds
August 28th 193.8 pounds

I have Hypothyroidism (balanced with meds) and I am on a Gluten Free diet. Although I don't see MUCH difference being GF, it helps to cut out some unnecessary carbs that I would otherwise be tempted with. Besides. . . my wife is gluten intolerant and HAS to be gluten free, . . . so . . . why not both of us, . . . right?

My Goals:
My short term goal is to reach 199 pounds by the August 15 2014. (198.5 lbs)

My long term goal (October 2014) is to reach 180 pounds.



My Program:
August 1st 2014 I joined Ideal Protein. This is a 'Ketosis' diet that is strictly monitored.
Carbs are kept under 40 grams a day.
Vitamins supplement a reduced caloric intake.
Exercising is kept to a minimum to reduce the chance of muscle loss.

August 1st 2014 I started with the 'Ideal Protein' program - starting 213 lbs

August 14th 198.5
August 21st 195.8
August 28 193.8


Personal Information:
Living in 'Sea To Sky' country, Squamish is an hour from the city of Vancouver BC and 45 minutes from the ski resort of Whistler. If I get tired of walking on the street, there are literally thousands of trails to explore in the forest.

Squamish is at the edge of the ocean, at the end of a fjord like valley, nestled between 5,000 - 6,000 foot glacial capped mountains.
