Fair ,fat, unfit, and fifty +

Hi there. I'm new to spark people, but an old hand at weight loss. That shows I've not always been successful. I'd appreciate your thoughts and ideas to help me succeed this time, and stay successful. All comments welcome.

I'm 56 and I live in Aldershot, Hampshire in England- one time home of the British Army. I am married with two children. My daughter died in 1995, aged 22. She would have been 38 now. My son is 29 and is a Police community support officer, attached to the local police. He married last year, but only two cats to show for it so far. My husband is retired.
I am unable to work as I suffer from severe osteoarthritis in legs and feet. I am somewhat disabled by this and all my other problems but I do what I can to keep healthy. That can be hard when you re unable to exercise properly. But I do try- at least my husband says I am very trying. He also claims to have found me at Stonehenge, and that I am a member of the ancient cult who presided there, hence my Sparkname.

I don't know if it really makes a difference, but I REFUSE to update my status for anything less than 5 points. Since I started doing that, I rarely get anything less than 5.

My hubby says it makes me feel like I'm in control. He knows me so well!

Good to hear from you Jane emoticon You are a strong woman to go through all you do. The little table sounds like a lovely gift for your son and his wife's anniversary. I can't get over how long your son was when he was born!!!! Oh my gosh, he was long!!! Is her tall now?? I am great, and taking some R&R these last few days. I have a cold, so that's a good excuse.....hehehehehe!!! Life is always so busy and if we're not careful it will just pass us by. Keep in touch honey emoticon
