Hello, I'm looking to more success with my weight loss goals by using Spark Pages. I'm a 56 year old professional in a high-pressured job, and it's been tough sticking to a structured routine, but my goal is to make it a priority. I want to lose 60 lbs. and enjoy the process. ///2014 Update...Lost 20 pounds--40 pounds to go; really enjoying getting fit. I'm enjoying doing new things and not letting my career consume my life. I want to get closer to God in 2014.

My Goals:
*Lose 40 pounds
*Hike comfortably in a variety of places--see more of the country
*Visit a new National Monument this year
*Consistently attend Small Group
*Read at least one non-fiction book a month to expand my knowledge

My Program:
*Eat sensible diet; avoiding excessive snacking and processed food.
*Hike, walk with dogs, or some other form of more intense exercise at least 3 x week.
*10 minutes a day of stretching/ video

Personal Information:
56 year old woman with over 40 pounds to lose. Enjoys hiking, cross stitch, reading, and watching too much television.

Reached shrt-term goal of 20 pound weight loss; 40 to Go!!!

Enjoy Christian activites

Enjoy mystery/romance novels.

Loves Scrabble

Loves spending time with my family. Need to do a lot more of it.

WHO you are is what makes you special.
Do not change for anyone.

WHAT lies ahead will always be a mystery.
Do not be afraid to explore.

WHEN life pushes you over,

WHERE there are choices to make,

Thanks for my Spark Goodie! Yes, maintenance takes work; it's a lot like exercise. The more you do it, the stronger you become! Working at it myself and it's challenging, especially this time of year.
