Working on a major weight loss effort. Have committed to Food Addicts in Recovery 12 Step Program. Lost 20 punds in 2 months and keeping on going. I need to lose 50 more pounds one day at a time, but I feel hopeful I will really do it this time.

My Goals:
I really want to get to my goal weight in a year. I weigh 195 at start and want to weigh 120. That is the gift I want to give myself.

I have a long way to go but have made progress.

My Program:
I started exercising-weight training 3 days a week at home with kettle balls, cardio 30 minutes three-five times a week, tracking my food within my calorie ranges daily, drinking 8 glasses of water a day. I will also blog and try to encourage others.

Personal Information:
I am from the Midwest, a large city, have three grown daughters. I work full time in a demanding job with long hours but I love the work.

Other Information:
I love all kinds of books. And I am startin to learn photography

I just got back from my exercise class. I'm feeling great, and I hope you are too! Just wanted to send a nudge your way - remember, it's all how you think about it. If you think of eating right / exercising as "hard," then you make it hard for yourself. If you think of it as refreshing, fun, pampering, energizing - or whatever inspires you, it will be that instead.

So, what do you think of eating right / exercising? What inspires you?
