How come I'm drawing my pension this summer when I'm sure I'm only 19? I've always had a weight problem from childhood - brought up by grandparents who had been through 2 wars and a depression, and happily cleared my plate every meal. Reached my goal with Weight Watchers 20 years ago, but couldn't keep to it, and have been gradually creeping upwards ever since. Finally threw a wobbly at the end of January and decided enough was enough.

My Goals:
Short term: to be able to wear all those clothes I bought on the way up, I can't bear to throw them out. To crack the 15 stone barrier by my birthday in July. Long-term: for my doctor no longer to tell me to lose weight to cure my (insert current malady here) And I would one day love to get my wedding ring back on.
My Program:
Keeping to an average of 1300 calories a day. Keeping track of what I eat. Taking more exercise.
Other Information:
50lbs By Christmas Challenge: Starting Weight 223 lbs Loss so far; 20 lb
