Been a Curves member for a while and love it. With my exercise partner we schedule 3x's per week. As of today started the January Jumpstart challenge here on Sparkpeople. Love the food tracking tool and so does my dietitian especially when I print it out and take it to our visits, I'm diabetic with high cholesteral)
I'm 56 y/o with two wonderful boys. My husband passed away from Cancer 6 years ago and it made me take a hard look at myself and my health, Started my journey at 247 and I am only 5'2. My goal is health
This year my thinking is "I can do it not I'll try"

Thank you for the thoughtful goodie Doreen. I'm feeling good today....not because of the 3 pounds down, but because of my consistency, especially this past week. It helps so much to have spark friends like you that we can cheer each other on. I hope that flu bug isn't worse today. I know this sounds stupid, but whenever I feel a cold coming on or something like that, I just tell myself in my head that I just DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!!! I know there is no physical science to it, but it seems to work for me. I can't remember the last time I was sick and I work in a hospital where sick is the norm. Take care and just do what you can. I'm always here cheering you on!!!
