Been a Curves member for a while and love it. With my exercise partner we schedule 3x's per week. As of today started the January Jumpstart challenge here on Sparkpeople. Love the food tracking tool and so does my dietitian especially when I print it out and take it to our visits, I'm diabetic with high cholesteral)
I'm 56 y/o with two wonderful boys. My husband passed away from Cancer 6 years ago and it made me take a hard look at myself and my health, Started my journey at 247 and I am only 5'2. My goal is health
This year my thinking is "I can do it not I'll try"
It's just me again Doreen..... this is the last week of the month. I don't know how you are doing on reaching the 5 pound loss goal for this month, but I am not going to make it. I've ordered a workout DVD that I'm going to start doing so next month I hope to really rev up my exercise and hopefully see some good results. Hope you are going strong. Let's make all our choices count!!!
Hi Doreen....just wanted to wish you a healthy weekend whatever you end up doing. Hope your working on losing those 5 pounds this month. We are half way to the end now. I kind of back tracked from my trip but doing better now. We are worth the effort!!!! Take care.
Good morning Doreen.....thanks for the smiley face this morning. I needed that because this daylight savings thing is kind of depressing when it's 0800 and you look out the window and it's still dark!!! I love sunny mornings. Let's keep tracking each day and pacing ourselves to reach our monthly goals. Just having a positive mindframe is a success in my book. Let's get er done Doreen!!!! WE CAN AND WE WILL DO THIS!!!!

I don't know about you Doreen, but I have to shovel snow today and that will burn some calories but I don't think it will be enough to get me to the goal of dropping 5 pounds this month. We can always blame it on being a short month.

Hi Doreen.....we're over halfway through the month. Let's keep on working towards that 5 poound goal. We can do it!!! My exercise has been hit and miss this week and I had a little binge last night, but I think I'm still doing ok....pushing forward. Hope you are staying on track and good choices are coming your way.
