I have been here on Spark since September of 2008... I was down 30 pounds and then allowed "life" to get in my way. I have tried coming back a few times, but losing my job and insurance and medications and life, in general, just fell apart. I am back up to my highest weight, embarassed, and ready to start over.

Food:
Eating between 1300 and 1600 calories per day, as clean as possible.
Keeping sodium under 2000 mg.

Exercise:
Walking 30 minutes every lunch hour at work.
Stationary Bicycle 30 minutes 6 days/week
Strength training 3 days/week





Personal Information:
I live in Snohomish, WA with my husband and chihuahua. I am a full time student working on my Bachelors of Science degree in Health Informatics and Health Information Management at the University of Washington. I work full time as a Patient Care Coordinator at a small physical therapy clinic.

Hi I am a new OT major and the college transition did its toll on me. I am now almost 200lbs and I want to be back down to my old 140 (130 would be great!) As a person with what looks like a similar body type to my own how hard was it and what did you do to get started? I am 5 foot 2 inches and what my mother would call "farmstock"(wide hips, large calves, wide sholders and a huge ribcage) I will never be Skinny but I need to be FIT. what would you suggest?
