1/27/2014 - Day one of my new start to lose weight. My goal is 190 for now. It has been hard to get focused again. But I will try...My goal is 1800 calories a day and walking on 2 breaks Monday thru Friday..

I would like to accomplish my goal of 190 by August 31, 2014...Right before our Wedding Anniversary..

This is the LAST time I am going to try and lose weight...

- Back home from vacation...It was wonderful...Ready to go back already...Monday the 16th is D-Day...Time to get back in the swing of things to meet my goal of 180 by November 30th....I can do it if I set my mind to it...

8/31/13 - I am starting fresh after we come back from vacation which starts this Monday, Sept. 2nd...So come Monday Sept. 9th it is day 1....My goal is to weigh at least 180 by the end of November. I have done good...Only gained 5 lbs...So I now weigh 190...And I do not like it...

So onward and downward to a new goal by 11/30/13....Hurray....I know I can do it..

I WILL SUCCEED!!!!!!!!!!!!

I WILL BE 180 BY 11/30/13!!!!!

7/12/13 - Well I did it...I woke up this morning to 185.2...I met my new goal of 186...I am soooo excited. I have now adjusted everything for my final goal of 165 by December 31 of this year. That sounds sooo good...My FINAL goal...It is happening and I am doing this...I have my hungry days but the ultimate goal is well worth it...I am now only 2 lbs away from my lowest when I have lost in the past...The lowest I have gotten to is 183...So I am venturing into totally new territory...Can't wait...

7/11/13 - I want to be 186 by tomorrow and I am very close...I woke up today to 186.6 for a total loss of 29.4 lbs since last October...It has come off very slowly but that is ok...I would definitely not want that weight back on...I am going to run with this as I feel so much better and have sooo much more energy in general...Still walking 2 to 4 times a day at work also Monday thru Friday. I really enjoy my walks and they make me feel so energized.

6/23/13 - I am going to take one day at a time now and focus on eating better as a whole and exercising at least 30 minutes a day 5 times a week. My goal is to be 165 by December 31st 2013. As that is the last day I am going to lose weight. So I must accept and be happy with what I lose between now and then...Even if I don't totally make my goal.

I need to be content and happy with what I have accomplished. I have not weighed under 200 lbs in over 7 years. That is an accomplishment in itself.

I need to not lose sight of weighing under 200 and eat everyday to maintain that goal.

6/02/13 - I woke up today to a loss of 1.2 lbs for the week...I now weigh 187.6. I am sooo tickled....I was a really good weight loss month....I have lost a total 28.4 total lbs lost

5/27/13 - Thanks to being sick with a stomach bug this week, I lost a total of 1.6 lbs....I now weigh 188.8 and have lost a total of 27.2 lbs...I am only 3.8 away of my next goal of 185....Then it is onward to 165...I am bound and determined to make it...I am feeling so good about my progress now...Nothing is going to stop me...By the end of this year I will have succeeded at my goal and beyond...

5/18/13 - Well I am down .8 this week....So I have now lost 25 lbs even and am very excited....Check out my new Profile Image....It has been a hard month....The weight loss is now going very slow but it is ok...I am staying with it....Only 26 lbs to my goal of 165....I WILL SUCCEED...

4/28/13 - Well my first week at my new goal and calorie change has really paid off...I have lost 2.6 lbs this week...I now weigh 191.8.....An incredibly nice loss for me....Especially as my average is only .6 to 1 lb....So I am excited...I am going to keep this calorie count for 1 more week and see what happens...Then I may need to change again so my body doesn't get complacent.

4/23/13 - I have been really trying to lose more but nothing is happening...So I set a new goal of 185 by our District Assembly which is 6/28/13...That is 1630 calories a day...It will not be easy as I am use to 1750 and above...My exercise is going good so I had to make a change with my calories to see if it will remove this plateau....

4/4/13 - 21.6 lbs lost!!!!!!!!After 2 weeks I have finally achieved more weight loss...I woke up this morning to a 1.2 lb weight loss...Fantastic!!!! I now weigh 194.4 and am only .4 away from my 10 percent weight loss goal.....Then onward to my final goal....:)HURRAY!!!!!!

I finally made it to 20lbs...As of 3/16/13 I now weigh 195.8 and have lost 20.2 lbs. So since 10/3/2012 I have lost 20.2 lbs..........I cannot wait to get under 195 that is my next goal 10% weight loss for a weight of 194.0.....

.As of 3/14/13 I am down another lb...So I weigh 197.0...Only 3 lbs from 194 and on to the next goal....It has been a hard 2 to 3 weeks....Hit a plateau...But finally started losing again thanks to extra exercise and just 20 less calories a day...

2/22/13 - I am down .4 this week...So I now weigh 198.0 ...Only 4 lbs to 194.....I am confident I can achieve this by the end of March 2013.....

2/17/13 down .4 more for a 1 lb loss and only 4.4 left til 194....

It is 2/16/13......i now weigh i am solidly under 200 lbs....NEVER to go back over 200 lbs......I am bound and determined not only to lose the weight but keep it off....i am a lifetime spark member and plan on keeping track of food daily for good now!!!! So I lost .6 this week and am only 4.8 lbs away from my 10% weight loss of 22 lbs....BUT NOT STOPPING THERE.....My ultimate goal is 165....and i know now that i can and will achieve it THIS YEAR......

As of 2/10/13 I have now achieved my first hurdle which was to be under 200 lbs..I woke up this morning and weighed in at 199.4...I cannot tell you all how happy it made me...Have not seen that kind of weight since 2007. Now I am moving on to 10% weight loss of 22 lbs by 4/15/13...I am quite confident if I keep up what I am doing I will achieve that ahead of time...I am now exercising regularly at least 4 to 5 days per week...Walking either at work in the halls or on the treadmill...It is helping to make the difference. I cannot stress enough how simple a process loosing weight is...Eating right, eating right portions, and exercise. That does not mean it is not hard just a simple process...No gimmicks no pills....I am bound and determined to reach my ultimate goal which is 165. The weight I was when I got married 22 1/2 years ago...

My Goals:

I am going to take it slow and steady and stay focused.

Take it one day at a time and do the best toward my goal everyday...

My Program:
Making the best eating choices I can every day and walking Monday thru Friday at work at least 30 minutes a day. And doing 3 lb weights for my arms every other day.

Thank you for your encouragement and tips on my blog. They are much appreciated.

I do great when I am home alone... I don't buy anything that would tempt me. It is when we go to a birthday party, baby shower, my in-laws or when somebody brings me treats. lol
