This was such an amazing hike into the John Muir Wilderness. This is my motivation to lose!

This is for me

Like most people, I've battled my weight for as long as I can remember. Carbs and sweets are my downfall, and I've had much too much of that for a while now, but overall I eat fairly healthfully. My biggest problem is moving.

I became self-employed two years ago, and I think (1) the stress of that and (2) the desire to get it all done NOW, keeps me at my desk for too much of the day. I know I need to move more; that is my biggest challenge.

6/28/2014: So add to my list of challenges, on 12/31/13 I broke my ankle. Happy New Year, NOT! Surgery to repair 1/14/14, PT, yada yada. Have worked my butt off (literally) since getting back to the gym in April. I'm 13# lighter than at NY's and I'm feeling fitter and stronger. But I ain't done yet!!

Thanks for the add. I love the elliptical- most mornings. I hit the machine at 5am on Monday through Friday.
