Busy Bee

Starting over again, lost 40 pounds, got off track and gained it back. Need to get back on that wagon. I'M a 42 year old grandma (with 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter that are the light of my life) hoping to lose some weight and be healthier so I can watch those grandkids grow up and even be around when the Greatgrans come along.

I am a diabetic and when the doctor raised my daily dose of meds I realized it is time I need to do something cause I sure don't wanna have to take shots. Hoping that by losing the weight I can get off the meds completely and maybe even get off of my blood pressure meds. With the Lords help I can do this and wouldn't it be nice to draw closer to him on this journey as well!

My Goals:
I want to get to a healthy weight slowly. My doctor says no more than 2 pounds per week or 10 pounds per month.
I want to get off of the diabetic and blood pressure meds.
I want to draw closer to the Lord and be a stronger Christian

My Program:
Walk at lest a mile each day.
30 minutes of areobics
15 to 30 minutes of strength training

Personal Information:
I'm from a small Tennessee town where we eat mater sandwiches and fried taters, people live back in the hollars, ya'll is a proper pronoun, people are always "a fixin" to do something, and somebody is always getting their heart blessed.

I have been MIA this week! But I'm back. emoticon Can't wait for the next challenge to start! I have to do something TODAY, b/c I haven't worked out since Saturday. emoticon Did bad yesterday (my day off)! Sodas and chocolate candy. Made myself sick. Hope you're OK!!

Body Beast is tough but a great challenge. I have been noticing new injuries starting to pop up but nothing I can't handle. Pack on about 7-8 pounds of muscle. I'm in the fat burning phase now.
