Finally success - after 20 years of being overweight!

I lost my job in 2009 and decided to spend more time at the gym. I lost 25 pounds and I'd like to lose another 5 pounds. My goal for 2010 is to keep it all off.

In 2010 I am going to concentrate on my diet in addition to the gym. Although I generally eat a very healthy diet (lots of veggies, lean protein) I am almost always hungry - I have no 'off' button. I am practically never full, so I just eat a predetermined amount. I always use a scale to measure how much I am eating. ...

I am also a sugar addict. When I fall off the wagon, it is always for something sweet.

Losing weight and exercising almost every day has improved my health. My cholesterol is 150, and the HDL:LDL ratio is excellent. My blood pressure is now 120/60 and my Ha1c (I have type 2 diabetes) is 5.9.

4. Go to the gym 6-7 days per week
- 3 days of weights,
- 3-4 days of cardio
