I am a 30 something mother of three Marine Corps wife. Over the last four years i have lost a ton of weight on my own. I used to weigh in at 400 pounds!!!! THAT'S a lot of woman!!!I have dont this all just by working out and watching what I eat. I also have the support of my amazing husband of 13 years!

Thanking you for adding me as a sparkfriend. I'm adding you as well. Your story is awesome and so inspirational! I am so impressed with you losing so much weight. I too have 99-94lbs to go. I've lost 50 and I feel like I have the world in front of me and I'm trying to move it!

You have to have the right attitude about running. The first week I hated it. It was hard, I was sweaty, and my breathing sucked. But I made it through. Even if it took me 20 minutes to run/walk 1 mile every single time, I was determined to make 3 miles a week, at least. Now I do more than a mile in 20 minutes. It is something I really wanted/want to do, and so i determined to make it work.
If you want it bad enough, you'll tell yourself 'you can do anything' rather than 'you cant make it a mile.' Start small. 1/4 mile.. then 1/2 mile.. then 3/4 mile.. then soon enough you'll be making it a whole mile plus some! Good luck!
