I am early 50's, weight crept up until I hit my highest ever.
Found Spark and my life changed. This is the first successful weight loss I have experienced and am determined to keep it off.
Now I've reached my goal weight, feel like a new person, very active with the dogs and everyone is happier. I'm going to keep sparking!!!

My Goals:
Now that I've reached my goal weight (still can't believe it), my goal is to keep eating healthy and maintain within a pound or two.
I want to boost my upper body strength

My Program:
I am active but have trouble following an exercise "program". Will continue to walk and track my food, the key to maintenence for me.

Other Information:
I have a very small family, we are pretty close and of course, there are the puppies. The border collie is my daughter's, who still lives with me, but he will stay with me when she goes away to college.

Thank you for your support, but I have to be honest. I am hoping I will be there tomorrow when I weigh in. I was looking to find the banner and was directed to go to a certain place, which I did, then clicked on it and all I wanted was to find the banner not claim it to the world. But God willing I will be there tomorrow am.
I was looking for the picture of the banner to put on my SparkPage, finally found that but not before I had hit that button. EEK!

The dogs get a large tablespoon of plain yogurt with crushed flax seed every morning and that is what makes their coats so shiny. They haven't had a bath in 2 weeks.

Hi
You left a comment on one of my pics about Xmas time last year (we have had not internet for a while hence tardy reply).
A Lurcher is a Greyhound crossed with another breed. Gabriel, the dog in the water, is a 'Longdog', a Greyhound crossed with a Saluki.
Lurchers and Longdogs are kind of an English and Irish thing, they are know really known outside of the UK. Sighthounds are, obviously but Lurchers go back in UK history for centuries. Only nobility were allowed pedigree hunting dogs and Lurchers arrived as the cross breeding allowed for a little leeway on the dog laws and they are excellent poaching dogs, which is why they were so widely bred and worked

Gabriel is about 27" tall, so a lot bigger than an Italian Greyhound

Hi Friend!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. You are so right that we are definitely on a roller coaster ride with this lifestyle change! I did not do too well with my eating this weekend. We had another b-day dinner at a hibachi grill. Then, we had Mother's Day mexican feast and today is my oldest daughter's b-day so she wants to go to her favorite restaurant tonight (italian food). I need to be strong and just say no to all the creamy sauces! emoticon
