I am being proactive about aging gracefully. I believe eating well, exercising regularly, reducing stress, laughing often, sleeping soundly, and carefully choosing health, beauty, and home products are the keys to my success. My body has food and environmental allergies and intolerances and some genetically predisposed challenges, but I count them all joy as I seek wisdom to attain my goal of living long and in good health regardless of the obstacles.
My goals include losing weight and keeping it off, increasing my stamina, sleeping well, developing muscle strength and flexibility, and attaining healthy skin texture and elasticity post weight loss.
Prepare foods in accordance with my personal dietary needs. Continue using social dancing, Tai Chi, Pilates, resistance bands, balance ball, and walking as my forms of exercise for variety and and incorporation into my healthy lifestyle regime. Continue making and using my own skincare products because they are keeping my 50+ old skin healthy, looking youthful, and repairing and restoring it to pre-illness days.
I provide online life and small business coaching services, and I produce and sell all natural, therapeutic, and handmade skincare, lotion, astringent, soap, and butters which I formulated based on credible research results for each ingredient.
My favorite places to exercise are at home and in the hot tub. I prefer at home because I do not have to pack a gym bag or worry about accommodating my chemical sensitivities. In the hot tub I am able to do exercises I am unable to do on the mat because the water helps support my impact injured spine. The hot water also helps my muscles to be flexible and creates good resistance for bone and muscle development.
