My Goals:
By the time I'm 'done' this I want to be able to walk wherever I'd like to go ... and then be able to walk back!

My Program:
My start date says 5/10 but that was only the day I first looked at the site when it was mentioned to me. Now that I'm in a 'fairly normal' place in my world: today and everyday I will ride a minimum of 5 mins. on my elliptical trainer; stretch at least 5 mins. before leaving my bedroom in the a.m.; walk at least 100 steps ea. day; and cook at least 4 SP recipes for dinners during the week; and no longer rely on my power chair for all ambulation!

Personal Information:
I live in the 'top of' Maine where life outdoors is almost mandatory it's so beautiful! I have a supportive wonderful husband and four fabulous kids who have helped me through some very rough times and now we're on the upward swing with the grace of God and the love of family!

Other Information:
I love to read, craft, swim, fish and watch movies. I am a lower extremity amputee and appreciate any and all workout tips. I look forward to being an active member of my teams and am happy to cheer you on too!

Welcome to The Chair Exercise Team!!!
We are an active and friendly team and love our exercise .. we not only cater for disabilities, a lot of our members just love the chair exercise and the camaraderie of this team.
We are here to help you to realise your dream of fitness and health in fact, we encourage exercise of some sort or another.
This help to keep the heart rate up and the blood flowing through our bodies.
We also encourage our members to look after their Nutrition.
We have several challenges going on and heaps of fun thing to do!

I just wanted to post a quick Welcome to the Chair Exercise TEAM. We're so glad to have you join us. Please jump in and have a good time getting healthy. This is an excited group of folks and really active team so you should be able to find all sorts of inspiration and motivation. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. There's always someone willing to help in any way possible. Don't forget to use the food/water tracker that spark people provides as well as the fitness tracker.
