I have been with SparkPeople for almost a month and I LOVE it! I have lost weight before joining and hit a plateau for 8 very long months. I found out some very helpful tips and now I'm over it. I couldn't be happier. I have been with 2 other site and never got nearly the support that I am now. I have been with SparkPeople for almost a month and I LOVE it! I have lost weight before joining and hit a plateau for 8 very long months. I found out some very helpful tips and now I'm over it. I couldn't be happier. I have been with 2 other site and never got nearly the support that I am now. What I'm really looking for is support when I'm having a bad day, tips on excersising, and healthy food choices. We can all reach our goal together. I can't wait to meet more new friends. I started my weight loss journey in April of 2009. I weighed 240 pounds and only being 5' 2.5", thats not cute. I currently weigh 148. When I started my health was bad. My BP was high...I had it checked a couple of months ago and it was 110/82 w/ a pulse of 60. It took hard work but it was all worth it. This is the healthiest I have been in my adult life. I've gone from an 18 to an 8....I still want to lose one more size. My old Dr. wanted me to weigh about 128(NO WAY)...I don't want to be skinny. I want to be smaller yet still keep my curves. My current Dr. wants me around 140.

My Goals:
My goal right now is to weigh 140....I will create a new goal once that one is reached...maybe another 10 pounds but that will be it and then I'll maintain

My Program:
I am eating every 3 hours even if I'm not hungry..just a little something. I keep my caloric inatke to 1400 calories and try to fit in 30 minutes+ of cardio at least 5 times a week. Some weeks I'm not that good with the excersise.

Personal Information:
My husband and I have been together since 1988...yup..high school sweethearts. We got married in 1996 and had 2 children. Our daughter is 11 and our son is 7
