My Goals:
My long range goal is to feel more energetic day to day!

11/17/2008 - I just want to be active for two weeks and get to the next level.

11/22/2008 - Here is my plan - i want to do cardio EVERY day to start burning the calories I will eat later in the week. I will start tomorrow (haha).

My Program:
I'm in the fast start stage, checking out the tools available, focusing on cutting back on unhealthy eating. I am amazed at how many resources are available on Spark People.

I will log what I eat, do cardio, begin a strength program, and log what I eat.

Personal Information:
I am from Upstate, South Carolina. I live with my husband and my boy, who is a senior in high school (God Bless Me). My daughter is in college. We are from Dallas, Texas, although I have also lived in Orange Cty, CA, Enid, OK, and Birmingham, AL.

Other Information:
I may be heading to Tahiti this spring! Wouldn't it be great to lose a few pounds before I go?

Welcome to SP. You've taken a huge step in the right direction. Utilization of all the tools SP has to offer will be helpful, but the support is overwhelming. If you every need anything, feel free to ask. On that note, I have started a new team called Beat the Week where we have new health-related challenges each week.
