Progress Not Perfection!

I have been overweight my whole life and I will soon be divorced from a man that has a preference for large ladies. My goal weight is 160 lbs and on June 30th, 2008 I will be having lap-band surgery, since I know it is just a tool and not the answer, I am trying to lose as much as I can on my own. I believe in Progress Not Perfection. Little things that all add up to the big picture are what I am all about. I also believe No Day But Today! I hope we can help each other on this journey! The Virgo girl is born to a mother who isn't happy with the money the father makes, so the child grows up in a family with a critical parent, so she learns to be critical especially of herself. The father is a good man but rather passive so the shy little Virgo child goes inward for quiet as she doesn't like over-stimulation. She learns to be frugal as money has always been a worry in the home. She doesn't want to be criticized so she works hard to always be ready so she isn't found unprepared. Virgo gets along with Pisces, Cancer, Capricorn, taurus and Scorpio, but when a relationship goes bad she will walk out and not look back as she is very capable of living on her own. She often finds a man who is the "bad boy" so she can try to improve or change him, but that doesn't work since he finds her a "nag". She is better off staying with intellectual men who want to be a success and finding one she can help get to the top.
Weight can be an issue for her as she can turn to sweets for comfort, but her sign rules the Sixth House of Health, so she makes a good nurse caring for others. She LOVES to show others the right way to live, so she can be a health coach.
