Third time a charm?! I'm back for a third time to try and lose the 20-30 pounds that I feel I need to. I don't want to get skinny - I think too much emphasis is put on being thin. But I would like to get healthier and lose the spare tire I carry around my waist. Actually I would like to have a waist again!

I'm back on track after having my 3rd child. All of that pregnancy weight is gone (YAH!). Now I want to push through to lose all of the extra weight that I have been carrying ...

My Goals:
- To feel good about myself... I will never be a skinny twig, but I want to get to a healthy weight that I can be comfortable with.

- To be comfortable with being me!

- To feel like a (sexy) woman, and not just a Mom!

- To embrace life; to live life to the fullest.

My Program:
Try to get in 45 minutes of cardio most days (at least 4X a week) plus some strength training.

Personal Information:
Stay-at-home Mom of 3 (age 14, 7 and 4).

Other Information:
I'm just out there trying to enjoy life as much as I can. Spark People has definitely helped me to find out different things that I like. And that exercise helps me have so much energy to enjoy life!

I just wanted to say hi and tell you that even though I've been away from SP for the past several months (bogged down with work and stress) I am looking forward to ending the mighty-year-of-challenges that has plagued me this past year and start fresh soon... I may be still a bit scarce around here for the next little while but I did want to let you know that I've been thinking of you and hope you are doing well in life, in happiness, and in your journey.

Some New Year Quotes for you:

‘An optimist stays up until midnight to see the New Year in.
A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves’ – Bill Vaughn

‘Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on,
with all the wisdom that experience can instil in u.’ – Hal Borland

‘Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right’ – Oprah Winfrey

‘The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot.’ – Michael Altshuler

‘We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves.
The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.’ – Edith Lovejoy Pierce.

‘This is the new year the new you. You can pass through another year, coasting on cruise control.
Or you can step out of your comfort zone, trying things you have never done before, & make 2013
as the year that you elevate from where you are & soar high. Make it happen.’ – Pablo

Thank you for the kind words and encouragement! I agree, that's why I'm trying to focus on not gaining any weight. Staying at the same weight for such a long period that I have can be frustrating but as you said, it's still way better than gaining weight. I'm going to take things very easy now and focus on taking good care of myself and not gaining any weight back. Then when the time comes and I find my Spark again it'll be so much easier to get back on track.

Thanks for being such a good SparkFriend :) I hope your day is going well so far!
