thin and smoke free can be done

I have always smoked, and thin most of life, till 40 at least, now finally smoke free and refuse to let anymore weight change that, I will lose 50 pounds and become myself again, without smoking. Quit smoking one month ago, weight gain is not an option. my health goal is to lose weight, not smoke and improve my activity level.

Hi and welcome to the team, I know you are going to enjoy being a part of this big family. Some of us are truely sweet and supportive while others can be quirky and to the point..... I wont mention any names but I hope you don't get offended easily. lol.....

Hi,
I would like to welcome you to our team, 50 plus for all. This is a great team to be on. We are all like family there. I look forward to getting to know you better by your posts to us.
I quit smoking 1 year ago. That is when I went on to start losing weight too.

You can do this.

Hugs,
Darlene

So glad you decided to join us. Your comment about your husband being a challenge cracked me up.
I want to encourage you by telling you how I started out 12 pounds heavier than you and am now just a little beyond your goal weight so it can be done! The best thing I can offer is walking, eating right and making sure you post often. Take advantage of the tools of SP..they truly are wonderful and help. Being involved with the team also makes the world of difference. I can't begin to tell you how many times I have gained and lost until I came here. To me, if you have quit smoking..you can do anything and I mean ANYTHING. Allow us to accompany you on this journey toward your dream of better health, thinner you and a higher level of self esteem. We are a great family that works together in every way to encourage one another.
