"For Good"

For Good -- I have 60 pounds to lose. To lose the the first pound is the first step, the next 59 pounds will get me where I want to be (I hope!), but this journey is more than 60 steps and 60 pounds...it's the journey that will take me through the rest of my life. With my friends' support to carry me through the hard days, I believe I can do this.

My Goals:
CRUISE!! My goal is to look great at the beach; to be able to fit into the clothes in the 'other' half of my closet; to be able to fit into the clothes in Jeremy's half of the closet (!); to NOT look at photo albums and say "Oh look how thin I WAS"; to be a healthier and happier ME.

My Program:
B-Fast: 8 oz plain nonfat yogurt, 6 oz fruit, 1 oz Quaker Oats.
Lunch: 6 oz protein, 6 oz cooked veggies, 6 oz fruit
Dinner: 6 oz protein, 6 oz cooked veggies, 8 oz salad, 1 tbsp of oil.
Drinks: Water or club soda only.
Workout in the mornings.

David, it doesn't seem like you are eating enough. Almost everyday this week your calories were way below what they should be. Eating too little can be just as bad as eating too much. Your body is going to start storing the fat instead of using it for energy (think of the kids in Africa with HUGE bellies). Plus you are exercizing a lot, another reason you want to have more calories in your diet - you are going to need the extra energy.

Good luck this weekend in Napa - that should be fun. Why don't you guys pack a picnic lunch with some grapes and other tasty snacks - that way you wont be eating all the bread and cheese they serve you at the wineries.
