My goals are pretty much the same as they were 8 years ago when I first was introduced to SparkPeople. Many other things in my life have changed. However, the one most critical to my well being has not....I am still overweight. So, my goal is to just feel better and have more energy to do the things I enjoy doing. That could be anything from kickboxing ( beating the crap out of a heavy bag in the gym :-)...to stilling myself in Warrior 1 or 2 and as of today I cannot do either anymore. So at 216 lbs I am done with the excuses and failure is not an option!
Hi and welcome to the You on a Diet Team. I hope you'll find this group a great support as we're all focused on making changes everyday that are outlined in the book by the same name. I learn something new each day and the team helps me with my focus. Hope to see you out on the message boards. Maizey
Hi there! I see that youīve been here for a few days. Iīm stopping by to welcome you to the SparkPeople site. When I joined two years ago, I took my time learning everything cuz I just wanted to be sure of myself and I didnīt want to start something and fail again! Itīs good to see that you have begun tracking your nutrition and exercise. Try to focus on one or two things and practice them, then add more. In order to get feedback from other SparkPeople members, itīs important to go to the messageboards and share often. Also visit other peopleīs SparkPages leaving little positive and encouraging comments. Iīve learned a lot from the articles, too. Thereīs just tons of info available. Hope your weekīs a healthy one!
