Fun to be Fit

I really like feeling fit. I love the outdoors--walking and hiking. I enjoyed some fishing and tent camping for a few years. I enjoy playing softball and many sports just for fun. My favorites are basketball, volleyball, and racquetball. I also enjoy gardening, piano, and being of service to others.

About two years ago I realized that I was fatigued all of the time. I was gaining weight and was having digestive discomfort every time l ate. I'm pretty sure I had become lactose intolerant. I read about probiotics and gave them a try. I started to feel much better. I also have been watching the way I combine foods in a meal and avoiding dairy products as much as possible. These things have helped me tremendously with my digestive comfort and I have also lost 20 pounds. I seem to be back to my natural weight of 130 and am back to having a normal amount of energy. Life is good and I feel happy. I have many blessings of family and friends. I look forward to living a good long time and try to live by the natural laws of good health.

My Goals:
Drink 6 glasses of water/day.
Strength 2-3 times a week.
Cardio at least 3 times/week.
Go to bed before midnight.

My Program:
I play volleyball two days a week. On other cardio days I take a walk or do DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) at home. I can do strength training at my YMCA or at home.

BTW, I think I might be starting to be lactose intolerant too. Lame. I can still drink milk as long as I only drink one or two glasses per meal, but ice cream is starting to give me trouble. I'm glad I knew that you were l.i. so I could figure it out faster.
