Need to get back to getting this weight off and be movated to do it
I was diagnosed with Lupus, vasculitis and Multi-Joint Pain and some other thing but have to find out what it is cause they only put letters for it and I don't know what it means. They also said that I had congestive heart failure but had a complete cardio work up and my heart was fine except for it being a little large and the doctor was surprised that I had no blockage in my heart at all. ( I think it was because of my weight but I like veggies allot). I was diagnosed in Oct of 2000 and was ...
I was diagnosed in Oct of 2000 and was put on steroids and plaquenil and in March of 2001 ended up in the hospital with fluid in my lungs and around my heart that is when they put me on Methotrexate and the dose kept going up to control my lupus and get rid of the fluid in my lungs. The doses of the meds were prednisone 40mg. plaquenil 400mg and methotrexate 25mg injections because the methotrexate pills messed with my stomach. After being on methotrexate for seven years my body decided that it did not like the methotrexate and my hands started swelling and hurting along with where I was giving myself the injections at. The doctor took me off and wanted to put me on something else and I told him to wait until my body got use to being off those meds and to see if I really needed something else. Luckily he agreed to what I said and my body did adjust to not having all that stuff in me and so now I just need to get my body off all the rest of the meds that I am on but I d0 know that it will be a slow process but I will do it. I also have noticed that when I eat grains that it sets off my lupus and that it causes more pain too with my arthritis. So now I eat very little grains. I only eat oats and rice in my food and try to stay away from any other grains. The two of the grains that I stay away from most is wheat and corn. Wheat because it causes all kinds of stomach problems and also makes my lupus flare and corn because it causes my tongue to swell. Both of those I do not want. I am not worried about the two vitamins that I am on just want to get off of the steroids and the plaquenil. Both can cause eye problems. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 ... I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
