I am learning to be healthy and fit again. After a few health issues and many pounds later, I am ready to concur the world! Or at least my weight one pound at a time!

I have been overweight for approximately 3 years. Just over 3 years ago, I was diagnosed with an overactive thyroid, thyroid goiter and firbromyalgia. After many meds and night after night just laying in bed watching tv, watching my weight sky rocket and watching my life pass me by, I finally am sick and tired of being sick and tired!

I went off all meds because I just felt like a zombie (an overweight zombie). I went the holistic route and tried everything possible to make myself better. I was convinced I made myself sick because of the amount of stress I was under. So now I am convinced I CAN make myself better!!!!!

AND I WILL!


I have 2 ultimate goals. One, is be healthy and fit by my 40th birthday (October 2009). That includes being at a healthy weight. The 2nd is to run my first 5K for the Komen race for the cure in October 2009 (which is during my birthday weeked).

I am saying goodbye to 2008 and goodbye to my weight.

I am DONE!
I am done being sick
I am done being tired
I am done making excuses
I am done being fat
I am done being unhealthy
I am done done done!

Because I have fibromyalgia, I have to slowly ease into exercise, start slow and build up to regular exercise. I am determined to get healthy and fit. I will NOT let my health conditions beat me!


ACTION PLAN

~FEBRUARY 2009~
* ride stationary bike every morning! (make it a habit)
* Yoga 1x/week
* walk on treadmill for 30 min 2x/week
* weights 2x/week

~MARCH 2009~
* ride stationary bike for 20 min every morning!
* yoga 2x/week
* walk on treadmill for 30 min 3x/week
* weights 3x/week

START the journey to a healthier me!

- ride my stationary bike every morning.
- drink at least 8 glasses of water each day
- learn to eat healthy



Personal Information:
I joined Spark over a year ago. I wanted to get healthy before my 40th bday. Due a few health issues, that did not happen. I am back to spark and back to working towards my goals.
