My main goal is to exercise 4-6 times per week and get my eating under control. I have a hard time with willpower.
I like to change things up! I try to run 3 times per week, weight training 3-5 times per week, and the rest I decide when I get up in the morning. I also play softball during the summer and volleyball over the winter.
Hi there!! I know it's been forever since I have been consistent with spark and I am sure that you haven't had much time either. I just wanted to say congrats on your color run! You definitely need to post some of those pics here on spark. I loved your running skirt! I SO want one! haha Glad that you and your hubby could do something fit together.
Oh Yeah and WAY TO GO on your lbs lost! I see that you are consistently losing
Things are looking a little better since I got back on track.
You have the right attitude as far as packing healthy snacks and drinking lots of water. I failed to do this and that is where my downfall was. I felt horrible too. I know that I can't over induldge like I used to because my body isn't used to that crap in high doses anymore. :D
Glad to hear you have been taking pics. It really is motivating to look back and see differences. I hear ya on the cleaning eating. I struggle with this everyday. Keep working towards your fitness goals and try to add in new clean foods each week. I do well for a bit, but then get derailed and have to start all over again. :(
Who cares if your loss was after a gain. IT'S A lOSS!! Woohoo!! At least your on the right track again and your 3 lbs lighter. I just realized I need lose 3 lbs to be back where I was a month ago. Ugh....its so easy to back track and I have been yoyoing back and forth between 5 lbs. I wish I could just suprpass that and move my numbers down on the scale :)
Hope your doing well and sticking to your healthy snacks and water! Enjoy your time with your family!
Just got back from vacation and saw that you dropped 3 lbs. Woohoo!! So proud of you!! It's coming off fast :) I really hope you got to taking that picture because it seems like you will have a noticeable difference soon. Your doing AWESOME!!! Now if I can lose like 10 lbs this week it would be great. Haha j/k, but I wasn't good at all this week so I am going to need a whole lot of encouragement to stick to my nutrition and workout extra hard this week.
Congrats again and keep up the good work. Consistency is the key!
Thanks for stopping by my page! I really need EXTRA support this week. I know that everyone has bad weeks. I have been doing so good though and I feel like this is a huge set back. I have been doing well during the day, but then dinner has been getting me. My husband has been really throwing me off! (really I just need more will power)
Sounds like your Advocare challenge is a real motivating program to start out with. It's like a jump start for your system and then you have to continue with healthy habits. As you can see I am struggling with this as well. Don't feel bad that you weren't able to stick to it.
I'm so happy that you started lifting weights! The program I am doing is mostly lifting and pushing yourself to lift heavier weights each time you lift. I'm loving it! I can't believe how much my body can handle. The scale might not move as fast as you are used to, but make sure you are tracking your body measurements. This will definitely tell you if you are making progress. As for the pics, definitely have someone (yes even your kids) you will see big changes from day 1 until you get to your goal
OMG I SOOOO want to do a color run. I was thinking of running it when it's here in Philly. I orginally had to work so I put it out of my mind. Now I don't have to work and forgot about the race and scheduled myself to go camping with family. So, looks like the color run is out for this year :(
Don't worry about talking too much, love seeing the comments :) I HAVE been losing a lb here and there. I have been working really hard to lose. I heard you don't lose as much when you lift weights so I have actually been happy with at least a lb. Thanks for noticing!
Oh yeah and I did measure around my belly button, however it was still different. Hopefully next month is more accurate. I am looking forward to my next 30 days. I did day 1 yesterday and I used REALLY heavy weights and am excited to see what results come of this phase.
