Glenn was actually thin in high school, which he had forgotten about until old pictures showed up on Facebook. He also ran track in 6th grade. Since then, he just got lethargic and fat. Now he is walking every day, eating fresh produce and meats and losing weight in Mexico. He and his wife are traveling slow, housesitting their way through Mexico, Central America and South America.

My Goals:
Long overdue to lose weight back down to my ideal range, which is much lower than I'd like to admit

My Program:
Main goal is to regularly run 5K. I can do this three times a week, which is crazy to think about, but I was already right on the edge of it before, so no excuses...

Personal Information:
Texas born-n-bred. Other than that, I'm very non-Texan. Almost no accent, and after 40+ years I became quite liberal. (I blame Chomsky) Slight case of ADHD. Preacher's kid. Best wife ever! Semi-retired. Traveling the world.

Other Information:
If you really want to understand the Raramuri, you should have been there when this ninety-five-year-old man came hiking twenty-five miles over the mountain. Know why he could do it? Because no one every told him he couldn’t. No one ever told him he oughta be off dying somewhere in an old age home. You live up to your own expectations, man. -Micah True, p. 50, Born to Run

Suezette - Yes, we semi-retired and ran away from home!

I saw your pictures from Bryce and Zion - we hit all of those, plus New Mexico, California, Washington and back through Yellowstone, but over 6 months, not 6 weeks. We fully intended to add running to our hiking but never did. So sad. lol

Thanks for the add!
When you lived in your pop up, was it because you were traveling?
MY DH and I spent almost 6 weeks out west hiking and camping (tent) in 14 National Parks (We called it our Southern Tour...Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Yosemite, Death Valley, etc). We had the time of our lives! Put over 7,000 miles on our car, not to mention how many miles on our feet (and all done at my heaviest weight too! I can only imagine how much more fun it would be now, and running those mountain trails!! I'm ready to do our *Northern Tour*, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Mt Rainer, etc)
