I will probably not use this page quite as much since I have discovered that I am pregnant with our second baby! We are so incredibly happy!
Unfortunately I have had so little energy my workouts have become pretty non existive. However, now that I can see all my previous workouts results disappearing, I have tried to motivate myself more.

My first 'step' toward healthy eating was when I was pregnant with our now 18 month old little girl. I cut out fried food- altogether. Since that day, I think I've only fried something for supper maybe 3 or 4 times, in over a year!

I never really did much else until the beginning of this year (2009). Then I started actually caring about my weight and size, realized I wasn't losing my leftover baby pudge, and my husband had picked up extra weight almost without us noticing.

After our vacation to TX for Christmas, my husband and I came home with a renewed sense of wanting to be healthy. We have an 18 month old beautiful little girl and another baby on the way! We want to be healthy parents and raise them in a healthy home.
We've replaced our snack goodies with healthier alternatives. First I started with 100 calorie snack packs to learn to cut the AMOUNT down, and then once I wasn't habitually snacking every day, I switched to only snacking on carrots, apples, peaches, and various other fruit.
We bought ourselves a Wii Fit early January, and I proceeded to drop back down from 125 to 114 before discovering I was pregnant with baby #2.

The best thing? I have felt AMAZING. I've been energized and feeling healthy, toning up and losing the bit of extra flub.

I want to be a good example to our babies and to my husband. I don't want anyone to have to suffer later because of the poor health choices I made today.

If you're new here and are afraid you're simply going to lose motivation and "Fail", let me be the first to tell you: YOU CAN DO THIS! Stick it out! Even on the days you trip up, don't spend time worrying about it. Jump right back up and keep trekking. You will appreciate it so much one day.

    Congratulations on your pregnancy!! :D Being on SP while pregnant is great idea -- I don't have any kids (yet!) but I imagine that SP is a great tool for keeping track of your weight, etc. while expecting! Do ya'll know what sex the baby is yet, or is it going to be a surprise?

    well thanks for ur comment on my blog...I have been trying to eat apples or oranges instead of skittles and M&Ms...I'm goin to the doctor today to see whats goin on becuase I'm always hungry!1 My mom told me about this medication that could help with always being hungry. I heard It has something to do with blood sugar levels idk i guess we will see...you seem to be making alot of progress good luck to u!!!!
