Ive been on a fittness journey for YEARS. Its taken years because along the way Ive had 3 babies and we all know how that goes. I gained a lot of weight with each and managed to lose it with exercise and good eating choices. I am now 10lbs away from my goal weight of 115lbs. Im 5'1", 32 years old, a wife, mother, Realtor, and a person living with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (aka: Brittle Bone Disease). Having this disease also contributes to my pace. I have to modify most workouts, I can only run when Im not having a flare up of either arthritis or the degenerative discs in my back. I was diagnosed in March 2012 with having blood closts in my left shoulder, neck, and head. I eat well, I workout at least 4 days a week, I dont smoke, but due to having OI I now have these "lovely" clots. Some of the Side effects of the clots were loss of mobility on my left side for weeks as well as an inability to swalIow regular food. So my workouts had to stop and my eating got all screwed up. Im on blood thinners now and may be for the rest of my life. As a result of the thinners I now have to go easy on the green veggies as vitamin K counteracts the meds. So Im having to rework my whole eating structure now - which is why Im here. Im only 10lbs away from my goal - a goal I have had since I was 22. I will hit it this year and I will maintain it.
