Hello I'm a stress eater and a bit lazy at times. I'm 29, married, and have one young son. I've paid my dues learning the fitness and healthy living ropes and have went up and down the yo yo weight scale a couple times. Trying to live my life for today and trying to add years to my future in the process.
Everytime I've wanted to lose weight is was just that "wanting to lose weight". I wanted to look pretty in clothes and live longer for my family. This time I consider myself an athlete. I want to increase my endurance and my strength to make me better at my hobby. All that other stuff will work itself out in the process. Let's do this!

I know that I'll look back at this time fondly. And I don't even really mind that much as it's happening; sometimes I just need to pause and put it all on paper so I can look at it. Thanks for sharing your experience with me - it's very helpful to know what other moms think and went through.
Whenever somebody looks at me sideways or makes a comment that indicates that they don't quite understand how crazy pregnancy is - and sometimes even the best-intentioned non-parents have those momeents - I just tell them "I grow people. What's YOUR superpower?" That gets me all the leeway I need to do whatever seems needful at the moment.

Thank you for commenting on my blog. I usually do pretty well at watching serving sizes, but mac n cheese is a very weak point for me. I've decided not to eat it at all for a little while. It is too tempting to eat too much once I start. I've also decided to start using the food tracker as often as I can.
Thanks for mentioning that veggies should be part of every meal. I used to include a fruit or veggie with every meal, but I quit doing that. I can't even tell you when or why my food habits went down the toilet, but starting today, I'm going to do much better.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my Woo Hoo Moment blog. Stickers are an awesome motivator. I haven't used stickers on it in a while, but I make a goal tracker that I print every month so I can mark the days that I'm doing well. It is a fun way for me to keep track, and I can track each goal in a separate mini calendar so it is easier to see how I'm doing on each one.
