Hi and welcome to SparkPeople and the SP Class of January 6-12, 2008! Start recording everything you eat in the Nutrition Tracker, don‘t worry too much about ‘dieting‘. You'll probably notice that you're getting WAY too much sodium and not enough protein and fiber. If you're an 'emotional eater' record in the Nutrition Tracker notes what 'set you off' to a binge etc. Also if you aren't already, start incorporating at LEAST 8-8 ounce glasses of water every day. Your body requires that as a minimum just to sit in front of the TV all day. For every hour that you sweat you loose a quart of water ... that's FOUR CUPS. So, it's important to hydrate and REhydrate your body throughout the day. Participation is a great motivator. Catch up on the team threads - we’ve been pretty busy over there!
