I've struggled with my weight for a long time, it wasn't until I saw a picture of myself in February 2012 that I decided that enough was enough. I got on a scale and it read 264lbs I was in tears, I took the weekend to decide what I was going to do about it, I came up with a plan. The following Monday, I starting walking 2miles a day for a month, I start feeling better, I then realized that it wasn\'t as hard as I thought it would be on top of that I lost about 10lbs. I had my motivation, In April my job sent out an announcement about a 5k run for homeless women children needless to say I signed up. I trained for 6 weeks and on May 12, 2012 I completed my first 5k run, It felt wonderful to run across that finish line. I am .now down to 214lbs. I'm looking forward to running my next 5k

My Goals:
My short term goal is to lose 15lbs by the end of the summer, I currently weigh 214lbs I want to get under 200lbs something I have not done in almost 20 years. Iíve come a long way, however I still have a long way to go.

My overall weight loss goal is to get down to 170lbs tone up and maintain my healthy life style.



My Program:
I eat at least 3 full meal a day which consist of a lean meat, a vegetable and a fruit. I also drink at least 64oz of water, I might add an additional meal or a snack throughout the day. I try my best not to eat after 7pm.

I do an hour and a half of cardio 3 to 5 days a week, I strength train 2 to 3 times a week and I take a boot camp class twice a week on Tue/Thur. I totally rest on Sunday.
