My name is Kayla. I'm 22 years old, and a mom to the most amazing 3 year old twin boys. I gained almost 100lbs in my pregnancy, tipping the scales at 290lbs. I've lost 50lbs since my boys were born, but unfortunately my weight loss has stopped. I've decided I want to look 16 again. Only, you know, with better hair and fashion sense.

I need to lose 100lbs to reach my ideal weight! Which, for those of you not doing the math, would put me right at 140. This means a permanent lifestyle change, which I finally feel ready for. I want random people to compliment me as I walk down the street again. I want the confidence to appear in pictures again. Most of all, I want to be fit and healthy enough to play with and enjoy my children. And in 14-15 years, I want my sons' friends to say, "Dude, your mom's a total MILF." I feel like I deserve these things.

Dingo I LOVE your reasons for wanting to be skinny. They are totally awesome! With plenty of dedication you will succeed. I've only been on this route for a month now but I am down 12 lbs and 2 inches. I can't wait when I hit my goal weight and I know if you can stay on that coarse you will feel the same way. Some days will be hard, today is for me, and other days you will have all the stamina and vigor you need. Good luck to you! Hit me up some time about what I'm doing and I'll do the same for you.

Jessy

Congrats on taking the first step into changing your life to a more healthier one by joining the site. Spark is filled with amazing people that will motivate, support and encourage you on your journey. There is so much to learn and discover here, take this one day at a time. A couple of things I would like to suggestion to make you Spark experience a great one.

1. Make goals for yourself. Each month I make a list of what I want to accomplish that month and break them down to smaller goals to work with week by week. This way the BIG picture doesn't seem so big.

2. Join Spark teams. There are tons of teams here and you will be able to find ones that fit to what you like or want in a team.

The key to success here is to be active and you've already started by joining. You will find that everyone is willing to help you out if you need it. Spark friends are here for support, motivation and encouragement. Good luck on your journey to a healthier lifestyle! Again, welcome to the SP family!
