Hello and thanks for checking out my page!

I am so thankful for SparkPeople!

I have struggled with my weight my entire married life (I was 126lbs when I met my husband & 160 when we got married). Actually - my whole life I had a very poor self-image. I want/ need that to change!!! I want the rest of my life to be healthier, more positive, energetic! I want to be a positive role model for my kids. I want to be able to keep up with my family.

My Goals:
My long-term goal is to lose 60 lbs. I will weigh 135 lbs (or pretty darn close to it) by July of 2013.
I am focusing on losing that weight 10lbs at a time.
188 lbs
178 lbs
168 lbs
158 lbs
148 lbs
138 lbs

I not only want to be lighter but also stronger, healthier.
I will do something everyday to help achieve this goal even if that is just not beating myself up for bad choices!

My Program:
I'm focusing on being more active and eating quality food right now.
I do not do well with restrictive diets! I do love fruits and veggies so I'm eating more of those, less of the junk (but not cutting out the junk completely)!
I am logging all calories consumed and tracking calories burned.
I enjoy using dvds (especially Turbo Jam).
I also want be stronger and toned so I need to get some strength training in.

Personal Information:
I live in rural central Wisconsin.

I am married to a great guy and have 2 wonderful boys!

Other Information:
I LOVE reading!! I also enjoy scrapbooking but haven't figured out yet where to fit it in.

Hi!! So glad you joined us in our Shuttlebug team!
We have so much fun on this team. We love to share our photos with each other and to comment on them.

Please check in the General Discussion section for the Photo Assignments.
Each assignment has complete directions in the very first post of the assignment which will be on page one, scroll to the bottom of the page.
We have a new one each week and they are a lot of fun. Sometimes they can be a challenge too!! You are welcome to add pictures to any of the assignments.
