I'm a 20-something vegetarian and a big nerd, trying to get fit and healthy to help me manage my depression and anxiety and improve my energy level.

I like to cook and eat whole foods, and I'm having fun learning more complicated recipes and trying to make meal plans. I'm learning to really love exercise!

I'm originally from the Chicago suburbs. I went to college in Washington, DC, where I got a BA in International Studies focused on the Middle East and Islamic studies. In addition to English, I speak decent French and some Arabic. I'm currently living in Miami with my husband and focusing on homemaking for health, community, and spirit.
