Hi! My name is Andrea. I have been on a healthy lifestyle/weight loss journey for a while now. I had my last child in November 2009 and now I want to keep fit and healthy so I can keep up with all my babies (all four of them!)! I am a very active person, I love to run (free therapy!), as well as do a strength training component like right now I am doing the JM 30DS. I started out at 212lbs but now weigh 181lbs. I want to get down to 155lbs for myself. I want to feel great about myself and I want to set an example for my kids. I am committed to Clean Eating. I have eliminated all white sugars and simple carbs from my diet and I feel so much better. I still enjoy things like whole grain sprouted bread, "Food Should Taste Good" tortillas (to die for!), and potatoes and such but I really watch my portions. I do not want to live my life obsessed with how I look I just want to feel beautiful from the inside out and I am weel on my way! I am so excited to be a part of Spark !!!!

My Goals:
To respect myself. To remember that what I put into my body is what I will get out and to change the way I live to be sustainable spiritually, mentally, physically, and environmentally.

My Program:
Alright, my program. I would not really refer to it as such. I am making lifestyle changes that will give me results long term. As I mentioned in my intro I am focusing on, and committing to Clean Eating. I want all the fuel that enters my body to pure, non-processed goodness. Of course I have days where I may slip but change does not happen overnight. Each choice I make, I try to make it a healthy one. As for exercise I am doing Jillian Michaels 30 day shred at the moment and running an average of 2-3 times per week. I have no set schedule as life with 4 kids, a full time job, and various volunteer committments does not lend it self well to keeping things on schedule. Most of all I am trying to practice the art of self-forgivness. I am trying to respect my body and all I have put it through in the last 7 years. 18 months ago my body created another human being, I respect that it may take some time and committment to get back to where I was pre-pregnancy.

I AM CANADIAN! I love to garden and run and bike and canoe and just about anything outside. Bring on summer!!!
