I am a funny and usually very active 29year old, who, unfortunately, swapped sports for the couch in the past months. As I will turn 30 in June 2013 I want to give myself a birthday present by loosing 21 kg and finally gaining a healthy and happy attitude towards myself.
Changing bad habits on your own is very boring and sometimes demotivating so I hope to find someone who would like a buddy on their diet journey.

My Goals:
1) Be active outdoors every day.
2) Don't eat candy, chips and fast food.
3) Exercise at least 3 times a week.
4) Meet with friends regularly instead of being a couch potato.
5) Finally, loose the BMI of 25 without a yoyo effect in the end!!!
6) Focus so much on my healthy lifestyle that I will eventually stop worrying/caring about the scales.

1) Make plans to go outside every day.
2) Cook fresh and healthy meals.
3) Use the cardio tracker.
4) Make plans with friends to meet in a cafe or to go inline skating, etc.
5) Loosing the weight slowly, being patient!!!

Dinah, thanks for being there when I've had my difficulties. I probably ate a couple of extra snacks last night, but I was "good" all day today - even under my calories. Since I don't know what caused the high blood pressure yesterday, I'm trying to be even more careful with what I eat now. I slacked off a little these past 2 months, but enough is enough. I'm trying to start building those good habits again. Thanks for the great advice!

Hope you had a great vacation!

I have the same problem as you when it comes to food. Take a look at my latest blog on "Cruising for Trouble." We went on our first cruise ever, and the unlimited food was just too much - I gained 8 1/2 pounds on a 5-day cruise! Now we're taking the grandkids to New Orleans today for the big parades. After this trip, we will be home for a while and I can concentrate on getting rid of these extra pounds. I just need to stay away from buffets!
