Hi thanks for stopping by .....

Sparkpeople changed my life. I had been bedridden for 12 years due to illness, in turn which lead to an increase of weight by 60 lbs. I needed to get back on my feet and healthy..... googled weight loss program and here my journey began.

I lost 50 lbs. in the first 3 years looking good and feeling great ..... then I accidentally injured my knee, not able to exercise as much awaiting for knee surgery which took 2 years. Gained back 20 lbs. (ouch) following the surgery, family illness and related stress :( Time to get back to what I want and need .... opted out of the last few 5 % Challenges .... I'm back !!! :o) P.S. Family's doing great Yayyyy!!

Update ..... I took an itty bitty pitty party (Migraines grrrrrr!) as well as a break from everything and anything I could..... 4 months left in 2017 ..... I do so much better when I'm in the 5% Challenge ..... I'm committed!!!! xo

My Mom & Dad, Sister, MIL and FIL passed away at a young age.

I need to do my best to break that cycle ... Adult children need their Mom & Dad ....Grandchildren need their Grandparents! xoxo



My Program:
Fitbit Alta HR - :o)

1. Weigh, track and log everything I eat and drink. Enter all Nutritional Info. for every grocery purchased. It makes it so much easier for tracking.

2. Eliminate processed foods.

3. Ensure that all necessary Nutrients are met (i.e. fibre, calcium, sodium, etc.)

4. Drink 8-10 cups of water daily

5. Daily Intentional Exercises, unless I'm ill (i.e. Aerobics, dancing, weights, kettle bell, and stepping etc.) I get bored easily so I need to change it up in 10 minute intervals.

6. Getting back to 10,000 Steps Daily.

7. Focus on Strength Training

My first username was "ABUSEDIT" I felt I had done just that abused my body for many years needed to change that and so in came "DIDI_60LBS_BY 60" came close but no cigar lol

My Family's the most important part of my life!!

I'm 65 years young :o) Married 43 years, soul mate, best friend, we have 2 Adult Children and 5 ADORABLE! Grandchildren and of course Moby the 4th" our Lovebird.

    1 Dye about 100 eggs, raw preferably, bright and bold colors. Eggs outdated by a few months or more work best. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    2 Go outside and bunny hop around the yard hiding the eggs. Squat to put each egg in place. emoticon

    3 Gather a few good natured friends or family members you don't particularly care for. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    4 On the count of 3, run to find the eggs. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    5 Upon reaching an egg, squat down to pick it up, stand, and pitch it at the closest opponent. Alternate arms to insure an equal work out on both sides. emoticon

    6 Repeat until all eggs are broken beyond re-throwing. emoticon

    7 Don't forget that cleaning (up) can be a workout in and of itself. emoticon

    And that is a wonderfully fit way to celebrate any spring holiday. Aren't you ready to hop to it?
