The Looong Road to Better Health

OK, I've been here a while now and have had ups and downs on the way to my goal. Unfortunately I have been taking detours on the road to better health, but I am determined now to take time for me (rather than everyone and everything else!) and go the distance to the finish line. I never would have made it this far without SparkPeople, and I look forward to continuing on with the support of SP and all the friends I have made here.

Hi Dianne! Don't know if you remember me, it's been years since I've been on the site, and my username was different. I decided to start fresh with page and points and stuff, but wanted to check and see if any of my sparkfriends were still here! Hope all is well. Rest assured, after being in Boston for 5 years now, I'm still a loyal Yankees fan emoticon

Hi Dianne. Just a quickie to tell you my husband is HOME! I picked him up from rehab this morning. He is resting in his own bed for the first time in over 2 weeks! We still don't have the pathology report. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks again FOR ALL THE PRAYERS & "KEEP 'EM COMING"!

Another fitbit fan! Hope you don't mind my adding you as a friend. I haven't had my fitbit very long. The reason I made the purchase is I was having trouble accurately counting the calories I burned. What really sold me was the sleep funtion though. I have fibromyalgia and struggle with getting refreshing sleep. Though the fitbit doesn't measure REMS "yet" at least I can see how many hours I actually sleep after the lights go off. I was amazed to find a lot of nights I get only 3 or 4 hours because I wake up all through the night.
