Hi, I'm Diane and have been on the Spark website since December 28, 2008. I haven't lost much weight but have been learning a lot about better food choices and exercise. The biggest thing that has been helping me with the lifestyle change in the motivation I get from the different teams I have joined and by reading blogs and articles. I make a point to check this site everyday. I feel that I have met a lot of old and new friends.

My Goals:
My goals is to lose weight and get fit. I want to strengthen my back, so I can work longer in the yard without pain.
I am working towards a better eating plan, with SP I am always learning something new. I track my calories and fitness everyday. I also write in my journal my food intake, the amount of exercise and how I was feeling that day. I find I have a lot of good days, I am always feeling a confidence that I did not have before.


My Program:
I joined a gym, using the eliptical and equipment. I also take classes 5 days such as spin, zumba, yoga, pilates and weight training class. I love it.
now that that it getting be 50 degrees and more sun. I am outside as much as I can.



Personal Information:
My husband and I retired this summer. I loved being able to work in the yard all day. But I sure hate the winter, I live in RI and this winter we have had a lot of snow.


Other Information:
I found that I am a very social person. I miss my class mates if I miss a day at the gym. I find myself very cranky or moody if I do not do some form of exercise during the day.
