The above pic is is because for the LAST HALF HOUR I've been TRYING to put up a REALLY NEAT Pic at the kite festival today. BUT !! Ask Maryanngi (who's in hysterics because when it comes to puters,,,, I SHOULD NOT HAVE ONE ! OR I need an ASSISTANCE TO DO IT ALL FOR ME !) and she'll tell you "DO NOT LET HER TOUCH ONE !" I finally get frustrated at "these things" and throw them out and buy a new one. This happens about once a year OLD!!! Yuppers and this puter has been ABOUT A YEAR !! TIME to throw it OUT and get a NEW ONE ! :) So this absolute ICKY pic is SUPPOSED to show you are very ADORABLE Izzy who's helping herself to her brush and oh she was SOOOO HAPPY !!

SPRING HAS FINALLY SPRUNG Here in the past week ! NOT bad for the middle of May !

My Goals:
We will be starting the Spring 5% Challenge starting on April 8th.

GOALS

**** Stay in calorie range of 1300 to 1450
**** Exercise of 60 to 90 mins daily and at times 120.
**** 30 to 60 mins a day of walking. Broken up to 2 or 3 times UNLESS I hurt my foot AGAIN.
**** 30 to 60 mins a day of yoga. I am at that "in between spot" of where the beginners is now very easy
for me so am progressing to harder moves.
**** During the Spring 5% Challenge it's my goal to lose during the 8 weeks, 8 to 9.5 lbs. IF I hit the 9 to 9.3
I WILL make my 5% Challenge ! WOOHOOO !!

My Program:
Is listed above except:
*As we lose weight it can be EASIER To REGAIN IT !! So I need to prevent this by:
**** Continue to work through current stressors (others who will NOT take of themselves in real life.
**** By recognizing and even more so "Coming to terms with it's NOT my choice, Its NOT up to me
to control ANYONE Except myself and to be as kind to myself as I am others (not usually an issue
**** Continue to work on more alternate things to do to help instead of emotional eating.
**** Walk and while walking either pray for help !!Or while walking read something on the importance of
NOT being angry (at times though anger IS justified.
**** Journal,,,,, this is such a HUGE HELP !!
**** DO NOT call/talk etc to anyone with a NEGATIVE attitude INCLUDING my NOT doing this to
ANYONE.
**** Add in the following:
**** Draw/paint what the emotion is in which it'd be an OLD coping "skill" (no it's NOT A SKILL though

Personal Information:
Life is to be enjoyed, ,shared (doesn't mean one HAS to have a mate,,, at this point I don't and it's strill FUN and at Peace) with those around you. At one point I didn't have a ton of friends or in any contact with family. That can make one feel so unloved, unwanted. I FELT that way !!

I went for help,,,, I BADLY NEEDED it. Now years later,,,, ,when I look back at it, I was ALWAYS angry, negative, judgemental. I had not been, but 3 situations happened within a year and a half. Sent me into QUITE the SPIRAL DOWN !! Indeed I am so grateful for the friends /family who stick around during that dark period.
If one is going through this,, it's ALWAYS a personal choice, but for myself getting the help was the BEST thing I could for myself at that time.

Other Information:
I am clearly OWNED by Izzy. She may here with her pic right to the left but I am going to switch around pics as I fix up my page. Izzy is 6 yrs old. Such a little LOVE BUG !! At night there are times she graces me with her presense at night,,, I fall asleep right off.

I am so happy that my GD is so special to me as she is. Family/friends help us along.

At this point I have now LOST 101 lbs !!! I am not sure what my goal will be. At this moment I am 187 and my curves are coming back, my face is coming back. I am able to walk after years of barely ,, if able ,, to.

Thank you for the awesome SparkGoodie, and the Anniversary wishes! We had a nice quiet evening yesterday, but on Sunday, we celebrated early by going for a walk around a beautiful lake, and had a delicious dinner afterwards.
I hope you have an amazing day, Diane! Thank you for all that you do for the 5% Challenge and us Dawgs. emoticon emoticon

Thank your for your encouraging words on my blog 'I am not going to wait to be "in the mood" to start anew.' I truly feel we can do everything we set our mind to. Did you watch the video Tom posted in the comments section? It's great!
    Have an amazing day xx

Ray fell twice in less than 24 hours - one hit his head pretty hard and bled but he didn't want to go to the hospital.
Then today he fell in the bathroom and got several skin-tears on his arms.

I've already called HomeHealth and Ray will be going to Hospice Care next week - doing this makes us eligible for the equipment I will be needing to take care of him. Things like a hospital bed, potty chair, and something to help me lift him. BTW, Hospice Care in Mississippi tends to be in-home.

Bless his heart, being 95 ain't easy.

Woohoo, congrats to you too, Diane! You are doing so well. Thank you for stopping by my page. We are rocking this! I'm on Day 5 of eating within my calorie range. I was feeling lazy yesterday - was already planning on skipping my workout, but then I got restless and anxious... And the solution was Jessica Smith's 40-minute jogging video. It was tough, oh my, but I did it! I also felt awesome afterwards... Until about 10 pm, when I got really hungry, but still - the stubborn me won and I managed to stay within my range. Yeah!

Let's have another amazing day. We got this, Diane! emoticon emoticon

You know, I have lived here for 10 years, and I don't know the answer to the swimming pool situation. I have heard we have one here in town, but I have never been.

When I get back from MA, I just might gather up the swimming gear you so generously gave me and go check it out.

It is still strange for me to not have to be home with Ted. I still haven't gotten over feeling that I must rush here and rush there to get all my errands done and back home to him. emoticon
