Hi I'm Di. I'm on a journey to lose about 80 pounds and become fit and healthy. I came to Spark for the great tools and support the site has. I am restarting on SparkPeople after being away for 2 years. This time around my goals are a little different. I'm looking forward to new information, new successes and weight loss.

My Goals:
Reduce my risk of diabetes. Rid myself of sleep apnea.
Get rid of excess fat!
Lose weight without surgery.
Be healthy and feel energetic.

My Program:
My program is basic. Eat better foods, incorporate exercises that strengthen my body, and help rid excess fat. I am beginning that by the nutrition/exercises on Spark, and with videos from Beachbody (P90x, ChaLean Extreme, Shakeology the workouts).

Hi Di. I just wanted to thank you for taking over the Jersey City team. I was always disappointed that there wasn't more support or talk there. I really appreciate the work you are doing to bring it back. Congratulations on all your progress so far!!!!

Thank you for reading my journal and taking time to leave a comment. It is helpful for me to know that something that I am feeling is something that someone else is experiencing. Thanks for the idea about trying on some beautiful clothes too. I did look at them, but didn't have enough time to try them on. That will be something fun to do when I spend time with my daughter.
